Cold brew is a coffee that is steeped in cold water for 8 to 24 hours. Cold brew is made with coarse grinds, light to medium roast coffee and cold water.
Cold brew is often used as a base for other coffee drinks. The concentrate will keep in the fridge for 7-14 days.
You can also dilute the concentrate with water and experiment with the proportions. We recommend starting with a 1:1 ratio – for example, 100ml of pure water should be added to 100ml of cold brew concentrate.
To make concentrated cold brew coffee, you only need two ingredients: coffee and water in a 1:5 ratio.
The result is approximately 120 ml of concentrated cold brew coffee. Bear this in mind if you wish to make a large quantity of coffee at once.
